Citylink is Ireland’s and England’s leading operator of express intercity and airport express coach services.  In Ireland, we operate six routes carrying over one million passengers each year.  In England we operate a major route between Stansted Airport and Central London.

To enhance our marketing strategy, Citylink has a vacancy for a Digital Marketing Executive. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team during an exciting time of our growth.  You will help develop, implement, track and optimise our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.  The position is based in our Head Office in Galway. If you have a relevant marketing qualification, good organisational skills, strong IT skills, attention to detail and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills further in a busy Marketing Department, we want to hear from you!

Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Reporting to: General Manager

Areas of responsibility will include:

  • Planning and executing all web, SEO, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts
  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular reports on performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI & KPI)
  • Continually work on Search Engine Optimisation of the website(s)
  • Create online banners and adverts
  • Write copy for email marketing campaigns
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new and relevant web and landing page content
  • Maintain existing websites and creation of new content
  • Conduct and collate customer feedback through online surveys
  • In addition, you will assist in the following;
  • Development of promotional material and printed timetables
  • Promoting Citylink services to students at college fresher fair days

Person Specification:

  • Experience and Knowledge
  • Work Experience and Qualifications:
  • 3rd level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing or associated discipline experience
  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role ideally within the travel industry
  • A proven track record of developing and delivering successful digital marketing campaigns within the sector or comparable, complex organisation
  • Experience in design, direction and oversight of digital marketing campaigns
  • Proven experience of managing a website, CMS and digital platforms
