Corporate Social Media Manager

Job Purpose

Tesco Ireland is seeking to appoint a Corporate Social Media Manager who will be responsible for leading the delivery of best in class corporate social media strategy and engagement. Reporting to the Head of PR, the Corporate Social Media Manager will work within the Corporate Affairs department, an exciting and dynamic function which is responsible for the colleague communications, Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility strategies for the business.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and lead the delivery of the corporate social media strategy for the business, working closely with our PR, marketing and customer service teams to deliver the business objectives and help to protect our corporate reputation
  • Responsible for the corporate social media channels. Collaborate to manage and deliver a sustained calendar of social media communications and engagement to support the business plans and build online third party advocacy
  • Provide crisis communications advice and work closely with the PR and customer services team to manage crisis communications on social media
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor trends in social media applications and tools to ensure best in class strategy and implementation
  • Measurement and evaluation of corporate social media campaigns delivering on KPIs as set out in the overall strategy
  • Coach and develop social media communications skills of internal stakeholders

 

Experience/Qualifications

For this role you should have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role and also have demonstrated track record of:

  • Developing and delivering best in class social media communications strategy
  • Managing crisis communications and reputation management
  • Having strong leadership skills including managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing multiple campaigns/projects simultaneously
  • Innovating to ensure delivery of best practices
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance resources, timelines and priorities very effectively
