Digital Data Analyst

The Digital Data Analyst will ensure that Concern’s digital, communications and public engagement strategies and tactics are informed and driven by authoritative and evidence-based insights.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with stakeholders to prioritise insight requirements and sources
  • In cooperation with key stakeholders in the communications and fundraising teams, harness the power of data available from sources including Google Analytics, Hubspot, and social media insights platforms to effectively measure and assess the success of our campaigns
  • Design and manage an integrated analytics dashboard which delivers effective insights to meet the strategic requirements of Concern’s Communications Directorate
  • Evaluate and deliver market research needs, through the project management of baseline, qualitative and quantitative research projects including our Irish Aid funded public engagement programme
  • Assist and champion the implementation of an audience-led culture, working with the fundraising and communications teams as required to help us better define and understand our audiences
  • Provide market insight to inform the marketing, communications and public engagement context
  • Develop working practices to ensure the application of gathered insight in the delivery of operational plans

 

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a web analytics role, or in audience, market or consumer research with a strong digital bias
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods, including drafting questionnaires and presenting insightful research findings
  • Experience in commissioning research from external agencies and procurement tender processes
  • Proven expertise in data interpretation and digital analytics, including campaign measurement
  • Excellent presentation, communication and administration skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Confident decision making, adaptability, resourcefulness and the ability to work under pressure
  • An ability to convey complex data insights in clear, layman’s language
  • A relevant third level qualification in market research, the social sciences or communications studies
  • Proven research skills and expertise in data interpretation and presentation
  • Strong numerical and statistical skills

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge or experience of the Irish Charity Sector
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, Concern’s public engagement & fundraising activities
