Head of PPC
The Brands team is responsible for CarTrawler`s consumer brands, Holiday Autos and arguscarhire.com.
You will be responsible for managing, optimising and reporting PPC, display and paid social campaigns across all markets using Google AdWords, Bing and other local platforms through 3rd party bid management solutions.
The PPC Manager is also responsible for best practice development and efficiency/effectiveness improvements within the team as well as the management and development of PPC Executives.
-Budget planning and revenue forecasting for PPC
-Managing optimisation of multi-market, multi-category PPC campaigns to agreed campaign /profitability targets
-Working closely alongside analytics team to track performance, ensure accuracy of tracking systems, agree optimisation strategies and report results back to the senior management
-Regular performance reporting
-Managing drive cycle, communications plan and promotional offer activity
-Developing keyword strategies to support local category marketing
-Working with marketing teams to drive copy testing and landing page optimisation recommendations to improve Quality Score and conversion
-Delivering performance insight to product development teams
-Developing your own product knowledge as tools/products evolve/change
-Liaising with search engine account managers for growth and performance improvement opportunities
-Assessing current PPC practices and implementing plans for continuous improvement
-Proactive knowledge and expertise sharing with the wider Brands team
-Assisting peers as a source of knowledge and guidance on PPC
-Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
-Day-today people management of PPC and Digital Advertising Executives
-Supporting internal knowledge share through training and coaching
-Developing and mentoring PPC and Digital Advertising Executives
-Addressing and escalating campaign performance issues to B2C Director
What background we’re looking for:
-Minimum 7 years PPC experience
-Minimum 5 years people management experience
-Marketing, statistics, economics, finance or language educational background
-Certifications in Google AdWords, Bing and Kenshoo
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, in house and industry tools: search engine and third party tracking tool interfaces and editors.
