Junior Product Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

Smartbox Group is the fastest growing industry leader in the global gift experience business. The organisation has grown rapidly both organically and through acquisitions and is focused on increasing its’ online and offline market share.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to become a key player on the product marketing team and drive growth and demand through increased brand optimization, differentiation and awareness.

We are looking for a product manager with a passion for online and offline marketing. You will own and manage in collaboration with the senior product manager the end to end product marketing for your target market, contributing to the overall EMEA market growth. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially aware and highly motivated A-list communicator interested in transforming our approach to product marketing and driving our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular analysis on Smartbox, competitors and market trends to recommend clear action plan to grow the business
  • Conduct deep benchmarks of competition
  • Work closely with the Product Marketing Director and Product Marketing Manager to develop and drive a first class go to market growth strategy for Smartbox physical and digital products
  • Develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate our brand from competitors and ensure fit with the local market
  • Liaise with production managers (design and content teams) to deliver best in class physical and digital products
  • Strong collaboration with the digital team to ensure best in class product delivery

Essential Competencies/ skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, ideally Preoduct or Brand Marketing
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets and best practice market research data
  • Good at project management, ability to drive cross-functional team in a multi-national environment
  • Excellence in execution
  • Knowledge of the Irish & UK Markets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage complexity; flexible attitude
  • Fluent English
