Actively seeking a motivated and talented Social, Content, and Online PR Manager to create and distribute quality, original engaging content, as well as manage external communities (including review sites and online forums).

 

The purpose of your role:
Actively seeking a motivated and talented Social, Content, and Online PR Manager to create and distribute quality, original engaging content, as well as manage external communities (including review sites and online forums) for both Holiday Autos and Argus Car Hire.
The aim of this role is to:
1.Drive additional traffic to Brands` sites
2.Support the purchasing decision of potential customers
3.Support customer service by addressing customer needs

What will success look like?
Communicate core brand propositions to current and potential customers through content strategies and strong distribution networks to increase traffic to site, help reduce customer service contact rates, foster loyalty/repeat business.

Responsibilities:
-Develop engaging, creative and shareable content for regularly scheduled posts, which drives traffic, improves customer engagement, leads and sales.
-Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our Brands, offers, service, competitors, and/or industry.
-Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach target audiences.
-Reach out to journalists, industry experts, influencers and other related individuals/companies for content collaboration opportunities.
-Ensure all content is search engine optimised and helps to attract site visitors through search.
-Ensure all content is mobile-first
-Define, track, measure, and analyse KPIs on all initiatives to report on costs and ROI, and push agencies on these targets
-Monitor brand mentions & competitor activity. Track trending topics to inform best practice.
-Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and quality.
-Define and manage an editorial calendar across social, PR, blog and other appropriate channels
-Provide training and guidance to any additional resources that become available, including influencing and advising the customer service team on social media engagements
-Regularly review all activity and assess the potential for expanding into other languages and across multiple Brands
-Help provide support and content for other channels, where appropriate
-Manage relationships with any external agencies responsible for content creation
-Explore and measure paid content marketing opportunities
Time Split:

This role has a wide range of responsibilities and the potential for further expansion. The following is the estimated time breakdown:
-Social Media: 40%
-Content Marketing: 40%
-Public Relations: 20%

Social media is the core day-to day-channel. Content development and strategy will be a major focus as the role starts, and PR activity will continue as it currently runs with regular interactions with our agency.

Requirements:
-A degree in marketing, journalism or a related field. A social media/digital marketing qualification would be a plus.
-2+ years` experience in a similar role.
-A strong understanding of all social media platforms and experience in creating content across numerous platforms in multi-media formats.
-Video creation, image creation and editing abilities a distinct advantage.
-Strong content and copywriting skills.
-Ability to analyse data, insights and deliver ongoing reports to the wider team.
-Ability to captivate an audience and add value to relevant demographics via well timed and targeted content.
-Ability to research and test social media trends and apply them to various platforms.
-Highly organised and detail oriented, target focused individual.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Additional languages beneficial but not essential.
-Previous work experience in an ecommerce and/or travel beneficial but not essential.
