Social Media and Content Manager

Arnotts, Ireland’s largest and longest established Department Store has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative Social Media & Content Manager to join our expanding Marketing team.

Working in a dynamic cross-functional environment, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing a clear, engaging and brand-building social content plan across multiple channels. By inspiring, entertaining and engaging with our customers, you will play a key role in growing Arnotts online community, building the Arnotts brand and supporting category divisions (womenswear, accessories, shoes, menswear, beauty, menswear, home etc) and category brands.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop & deliver a brand-building content plan to grow our online community which drives reach, engagement and share ability working closely with our marketing, PR, buying, operations, creative, e-commerce teams

You will be responsible for end to end campaign ideation and management, calendar creation and management, day to day community management, quality control and reporting

Engage in day to day community management, listening to the community and building and maintaining relationships with key influencers both from our community and beyond

Monitor key social trends and platform and leverage these where appropriate, ensuring learnings from previous campaigns are incorporated to future plans

Uncover and deliver key insights from social to the rest of the business

Help educate the wider business on the potential of social in reaching their business objectives.

Partner with Marketing and PR colleagues to amplify campaigns and drive engagement at scale through delivery of effective outreach plans

Work with the Marketing, Online, PR and Visual Merchandise teams to support the consistency in messaging in all content and key activities

Budget & Timing – Be responsible for the Budget management on all your activities and maintain all deadlines and associated lead in times

Responsible for conversation moderation around content as well as moderation of user generated content (not only limited to customer service inquiries but also engaging with customers who share compliments). Assist customers with service needs/complaints (direct them to the appropriate teams)

Full ownership of executing paid social media campaigns. Preparation, launching, optimisation and reporting, ad text copy development

Produce regular internal reports regarding the community management performance vs. benchmarks

Research – Audit competitors’ online and social media efforts as well as general market research to ensure Arnotts is up to speed with all trends and pertinent competitor information

Skills and Abilities:

A genuine passion for retail and delivering multichannel customer centric experiences.

Proven track record working within Social Media and digital marketing

Excellent content and copywriting skills

Innovative, with a passion for digital and social media

Excellent attention to detail

Experience of planning and managing paid social campaigns.

Education and Experience:

Degree in Marketing or equivalent

3-4 years experience in a similar role

Stakeholder engagement experience is essential

Proven track record of achievement within a marketing function

Experience of working to deadlines and having total responsibility for projects
